Servpipe — Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-11
1. Who these terms are between
These terms govern your use of Servpipe, the multi-brand ecommerce platform operated by Andromia Ltd (company number 15931114, registered office Office 6721, 58 Peregrine Road, Ilford, Essex IG6 3SZ, United Kingdom). "We", "us", and "our" refer to Andromia Ltd; "you" and "your" refer to the Shopify merchant installing the Servpipe Shopify app on their store.
2. What Servpipe does
When you install the Servpipe app, you authorise Andromia Ltd to:
- Read your store's orders, products, and customer events for the purpose of forwarding hashed conversion events to ad platforms you nominate (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, Microsoft UET).
- Install Shopify Web Pixels and Shopify Customer Events extensions that emit the same hashed conversion data from the browser.
- Sync your customer list (hashed) to ad platforms you nominate for audience targeting.
- Receive and act on Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks on your behalf (
customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact).
Servpipe acts as a data processor under UK and EU GDPR. You are the data controller for your customers' personal data. Our data handling is described in the privacy policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
3. Your responsibilities
- Maintain your own privacy policy on your storefront, disclosing the use of conversion-tracking processors.
- Obtain the lawful basis (typically consent or legitimate interest) required by UK / EU / California law to forward conversion events to ad platforms.
- Honour data subject requests forwarded to you by Servpipe within the statutory window (typically 30 days under GDPR).
- Not use Servpipe to send Andromia raw email addresses, phone numbers, payment card details, or other directly-identifying personal data — only the documented hashed identifiers.
4. Our responsibilities
- Process personal data only on your documented instructions, in line with UK GDPR Art. 28.
- Apply the security measures described in the privacy policy (TLS 1.3 in transit, SOPS at rest, audit-logged admin actions, time-safe HMAC verification on every webhook, PII canary middleware).
- Notify you of a confirmed personal data breach affecting your data within 72 hours of confirmation, per UK GDPR Art. 33.
- Delete your access token within 30 days of app uninstallation; conversion-event records and audit log entries follow the retention schedule in the privacy policy.
5. Sub-processors
The sub-processors Andromia Ltd uses to provide Servpipe are listed in the privacy policy. A current list is available on request to privacy@andromia.works.
6. Service availability
Servpipe is provided "as is". We aim for high availability of the conversion-server, but do not commit to a contractual uptime SLA in this template. Production-grade SLAs are available under a separate signed contract.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Andromia Ltd's aggregate liability to you under or in connection with these terms (whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise) shall not exceed the fees you have paid to Andromia for the Servpipe service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For free-tier installs, that liability cap is £100.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, lost profits, or lost data, even if advised of the possibility.
- Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law (e.g. for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
8. Uninstall and termination
You may uninstall the Servpipe app from your Shopify store at any time. On uninstall:
- Your access token is deactivated immediately and deleted within 30 days.
- Conversion-event records and idempotency keys age out per the retention schedule in the privacy policy.
- You retain the right to request export or full deletion of any remaining data by emailing privacy@andromia.works.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if your Shopify store is itself terminated, or if continuing to provide Servpipe to your store would be unlawful.
9. Changes to these terms
Material changes will be announced via email to registered merchants and via a banner on app.servpipe.net. Continued use of Servpipe after the change date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute, subject to your statutory consumer rights (which are not affected by this clause).
